The Center for Research, Education & Quality invites you to attend the International Cardiology Neonatology Symposium.This one of a kind conference will feature over 35 national and international distinguished faculty well known for their clinical expertise and teaching abilities in both neonatology and cardiology.

The three-day conference will include a clinically focused lecture program, panel discussions, debates and comprehensive case discussions. By bringing together neonatologists, cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and nurses into a single venue, we hope to have a lively and interactive discussions regarding the best management strategies for neonates with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). During the conference we will present the most up-to-date information on topics related to the diagnosis, management, and outcomes of neonates with complex congenital heart disease.

Course Highlights include:

* Updates on the effects of congenital heart disease (CHD) in the neonate on specific organ system function

* Mechanical circulatory support in the neonate with CHD including important differences from non-CHD neonates

* Debates on controversial issues of neonatal CHD such as nutrition, feeding and “ideal” pre and postoperative environments

* Understanding how to use ECHO to answer the questions that are pertinent to nurseries and neonatal ICUs

In addition, an abstract session will allow for physicians and nursing investigators to present their research in an open forum with physician moderators. The top 5 abstracts will be presented on the second day at the main plenary.

Abstract Submission: Abstracts should be submitted to the Conference Directors at neocardisymposium@pediatrix.com . Abstracts must be received by August 12, 2015.
