| 值此晚会之际，我非常荣幸地向大家宣布一个好消息 - 佩斯利中国学生学者联谊会正式成立了！ |
| 佩斯利中国学联是在大家的大力支持和帮助下成立的，她的宗旨是帮助在佩斯利大学的中国学生学者，增进中国学生和其他国家学生之间的了解和友谊，促进中英两国文化的交流。我们相信：有所有中国学生学者的努力，有佩斯利大学校方的支持，佩斯利中国学生学者联谊会会遵循她的宗旨，服务中国学生学者，起到沟通两国文化的桥梁作用。中国有句俗语：“千里之行，始于足下”，今天的晚会作为我们成功的开始，会推动佩斯利中国学联的健康发展。 |

| Good evening, Ladies and gentlemen, |
| Principal, Vice-Principal and everyone, thank you very
much for attending this party. Today is the day of Chinese
traditional Lantern Festival. First of all, please let me
offer the best wishes to everyone. |
| Now, I am very glad to announce one piece of important,
good news at this party: Paisley Chinese Students and Scholars
Association has been established officially. |
| PCSSA’s establishment is under the support and help of
all of you. The main objectives of PCSSA are to help the
Chinese students and scholars in University of Paisley,
to promote the understanding and friendship between Chinese
students and the students from other countries, and to improve
the cultural communication between China and Unite Kingdom.
We believe, with the endeavour of all Chinese students and
scholars, with the support from University of Paisley, PCSSA
will play the bridge role in exchanging the culture between
China and Unite Kingdom, under the objectives of PCSSA.
There is one proverb in China: a long, long journey is started
by taking the first step. This party, which marks the beginning
of PCSSA, can push the development of our association. |
