On behalf of the Pediatric Heart Failure team, and the SickKids Labatt Family Heart Centre, it is with great pleasure that I announce our plans to hold the 2016 Pediatric Heart Failure Summit, Toronto , September 26 – 28, 2016 .
Please join us for an exciting program to be held at the Peter Gilgan Centre for Research and Learning (PGCRL), 686 Bay Street, Toronto, located next to The Hospital for Sick Children.
This summit will bring together international experts to address the challenges of a growing population of childhood heart failure. Speakers will present the current and future landscape of pediatric heart failure in the context of cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, and acquired heart failure. Speakers will explore novel approaches to prevent, diagnose and treat heart failure with a special focus on Cardiac Precision Medicine and Regenerative Medicine applications. The meeting will be conducted in an interactive format with active audience participation.
Updates will be communicated shortly, including the opportunity for an early bird price for registration – for now I would ask that you pencil this date in your calendars, and please pass the information along to any colleagues that you think would be interested!
On behalf of the organizing team, we look forward to seeing you in Toronto next year!
